Today we’d like to introduce you to Leslie Werling.
Hi Leslie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
After moving to Austin in 2011, I was feeling disconnected from loved ones, from my goals in life and my work in physical therapy. I was becoming increasingly unhappy, finding myself unable to see where I wanted to be in life, how I wanted to make an impact and what I wanted to do with my career. So I began attending group meditations in an effort to gain clarity and after the first session, I started to have many of the spiritual experiences that occurred as I was growing up: hearing spirit talk to me, feel their presence, have visions, precognitive dreams and enhanced intuition, to name a few. With these experiences came the realization that I needed to figure out who I was at that point in my life and what I was so that I could figure out how to gain control. It was the start of a three years journey where I implemented shadow work, self-healing practices to gain inner peace and compassion, self-awareness and thus, the development of my spiritual gifts.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The first three years of the journey were so difficult! I had a lot of trauma to heal from, both inflicted by myself and from others… And I found that overcoming myself was my greatest obstacle. I know that’s not uncommon, but I think it was especially difficult because I was coming out as a psychic medium, too. What I am is still very taboo and I frequently encounter people who do not believe in it, as well as those who think I’m doing the devils work. So a person has to be pretty strong and confident to tell the world that they’re psychic or a medium!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My work is all about healing on a spiritual level. I use the gifts of clairaudience (hearing), claircognizance (knowing), clairsentience (feeling) and clairvoyance (seeing) to connect people to loved ones who have crossed over as well as to their other spiritual guides. I’m probably better known for my mediumship, yet I have many clients around the world who work with me primarily on a psychic level. For those who do not understand this arena, all mediums are psychic (having supernatural gifts, if you will), but not all psychics are mediums (able to communicate with people who have crossed over). I’m proud of both titles and enjoy seeing forward for clients, watching them grow and heal, as well as connecting them to their friends and family on the other side. As far as what sets me apart from others, I would hope that my own character and compassion make an impact, but more importantly, how I am able to give clients the validation that they need in the details that are offered within each session.
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
Working with clients is primarily remote at this time, via video conferencing and over the phone. I offer group events, such as workshops, group meditations (live and remote), reading galleries and private events. On a professional level, people can collaborate with me through organized events such as group meditations, reading events and group healing session, both private and public.
