Today we’d like to introduce you to Romi Imbelli
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I first gained recognition as a reality TV star on three seasons of the show “The Real L Word” on Showtime, where I was open and public about my life. Now, as a mother and identity coach, I am furthering my education in nutrition to provide more comprehensive services for my clients. I am dedicated to promoting healthy living in all aspects – mentally, physically, and spiritually. In addition, I have completed breathwork courses and enjoy coaching my clients to discover their true selves. As a makeup artist and host of my YouTube channel “The Reel Romi,” I continue to share my passion for beauty and self-care.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been easy. There have always been obstacles one after another. Despite facing challenges and criticism, I refuse to give up. I am aware of my purpose and continue to persevere. I meditate, pray, practice gratitude, and exercise regularly to maintain a clear mindset. Being sober for a year has greatly contributed to my success. By focusing on my purpose in life, the path forward becomes clearer.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am most proud of being a mother. Over the past 2 years, I have cohosted a podcast with my friend Carla called The Eff it Madres, where we interview moms who say “eff it!” I am most passionate about my coaching career, as I believe my life journey has led me to help others, especially underdogs like myself, to get back up, find themselves, and fall in love with themselves through exploring their identity and lifestyle habits. In addition, I have been a makeup artist for 22 years and love making women feel beautiful inside and out. On my YouTube page, The Reel Romi, I host raw and real conversations with individuals who are willing to open up and share their journeys.
How do you define success?
Achieving financial independence allows me to be present for my daughter and her experiences, maintain a peaceful household and calm nervous system, and make a positive impact on at least one person.
