Today we’d like to introduce you to Joey S. Gallardo Jr.
Hi Joey S., we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m a Biologist, who served in the United States ARMY as a Nuclear, Biological, Chemical N.C.O. I now enjoy working alongside my family in our Texas licensed Mold Remediation Contracting and Mold Assessor Consulting business. I started in this industry back in 2015 and worked with various restoration companies as a Project Manager. In 2017, I joined a National Catastrophic Team and worked major events from Hurricane Harvey and all the other major Hurricanes, Tornados, the riots in Minneapolis, and a few major commercial properties fires up to 2022.
In 2021, we decided to start our own company, JSG Biocleanse Services, here in Texas. We specialize in the mold remediation restoration part of the industry. We generally prefer to stay in Austin and its surrounding communities, but we do work in San Antonio, Houston, Fredericksburg, and the Dallas Fort Worth areas as well.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Experience along with education will help take you down the road, but every job is different and can have its difficulties that will change most people. I believe that things happen for a reason which leads you to the next opportunity to grow your knowledge and enhance your skills.

I’m a Biologist who was trained to handle major big projects when I was working Large Catastrophic losses throughout the nation as a National Project Manager.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I’m from El Paso, Texas. I played competitive soccer from the age of 8 years old all the way through college. I joined the U.S. ARMY and served in Germany. Once I achieved my service time. In 2004, I went and started my own private exercise studio. I meet my wife, and we started our family and grew out studio to include a juice bar, a nail saloon, a detox center, I wrote a book and produced a small TV program. in 2013, we sold off our business and I went and became an environmental inspector on gas pipeline construction. In 2015, we moved to Round Rock and the rest is our ongoing journey with our business.
