Today we’d like to introduce you to Sandra Beltran
Sandra, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Our journey as mothers took on a new level of intensity in 2022 when each of us faced the challenges of having a senior in high school. The whirlwind of preparing our daughters for college—juggling deadlines, managing expectations, and navigating the demands of senior year—was both exciting and overwhelming. For Sandra and Kathleen, it was their firstborn; for Jamie, it was her youngest. As graduation approached, we all felt the weight of this transition, both for our daughters and ourselves.
What helped us navigate this was the support of other moms experiencing similar milestones. Together, we created a safe space to share our stories, laugh, cry, and be vulnerable. In this community, we found strength, encouragement, and practical advice—and through it all, we held onto our sense of humor, appreciating the power of laughter and keeping things candid. These gatherings became a source of connection and joy, and our friendship grew stronger with every shared story and laugh. We swapped resources and ideas, making the transition feel more manageable and meaningful.
Realizing the power of this support network, we felt inspired to expand it. And so, Mom Proof was born—a podcast where we continue our honest, lighthearted conversations and share insights on parenting teens through to adulthood. In each episode, we explore topics like college applications, emotional health tools, self-care, modeling resilience, and navigating the complexities of modern parenting. We connect with other inspiring moms and gather valuable resources on our website, creating a toolkit to support parents as they help their young adults enter the world with confidence.
Between the three of us, we have ten children ranging from ages 11 to 36, and while we don’t claim to have all the answers, we do have a wealth of experience—and a shared love of humor. Our goal is to build a supportive community for parents as they navigate the journey of raising young adults in today’s demanding world. Our episodes are kept under 25 minutes, with a focus on impactful, relatable, unscripted content that stays in the moment.
If we can bring comfort, guidance, and maybe even a laugh to just one parent, then we consider Mom Proof a success.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
One of our biggest challenges is staying relevant and fresh in a world flooded with information. We know it’s tough to cut through the noise, but by keeping our message light, humorous, and impactful, we aim to share our journey one nugget of wisdom at a time. Each small piece of growth we share reflects the ups and downs we’ve experienced in parenting—honest, vulnerable, and sometimes a bit messy. It can be daunting to put ourselves out there, admitting to our own mistakes, but seeing someone take away a meaningful insight for their own parenting journey makes it all worth it.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We are not “just moms talking” .

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
We’re committed to staying grounded and true to ourselves and our families, bringing honesty, introspection, and a good dose of laughter to everything we do. Life is messy and unpredictable, and we embrace that by sharing the real, unpolished stories that make us human. We believe in listening more than talking, especially when it comes to learning from the unique journeys of others. And while we keep things lighthearted, we never lose sight of respect, sensitivity, kindness, and love for those around us. With humor and heart, we’re here to grow, connect, and remind each other that life’s ups and downs are better when shared.
