Hi Melissa, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
What started as a simple passion for being a school room mom to my kids years ago quickly blossomed into something much bigger. I was responsible for planning class parties, organizing events, and creating fun, so I would make personalized printables for each event. I made things like festive bingo cards that matched the holiday we were celebrating or the Teacher’s classroom theme. The teachers, other room moms and fellow parents began to notice and encouraged me to sell my designs online. The joy of seeing my creations bring parties and celebrations to life inspired me to turn my hobby into an online business. Today, I specialize in creating beautiful, easy-to-use printables that help others add personal touches to their own parties, events, and special moments—all from the comfort of their homes.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The biggest obstacle is being a small fish in a huge pond. There are so many digital creators out there so you really need to find your niche and make your designs impressionable to stand out in a highly competitive market. Success depends on crafting unique, high-quality printables that resonate with your target audience while effectively marketing them through platforms like social media and search engines. I love Pinterest as it allows me to showcase my printables in action. My college daughter also encouraged me to do quick videos on Tiktok so I have also been making content there as well!
Balancing creativity with business strategy is key, but staying ahead of trends, understanding what customers want, and building a strong brand identity can help overcome this challenge and ensure long-term growth and I try hard to achieve this.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
I grew up in the 80s and 90s long before the internet and social media and I am so grateful for that! I cannot choose just one memory but the collective experiences of sleepovers with friends, walking to the local store to get candy and swimming in the community pool each summer are just a few of my favorite times as a child.
