Community Highlights: Meet Samantha Anne of Luxeart

Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Anne

Hi Samantha , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Like many others during the Covid pandemic, I saw an opportunity for growth and reinvention. I chose to dedicate this time to building connections and learning from artists and business owners across the Austin community. This period gave me the privilege of meeting countless new friends—comedians, musicians, filmmakers, producers, and successful entrepreneurs—all driven by passion and purpose.

I worked on projects with corporations repurposing vacant buildings before the high-rise developments, which provided me with unique opportunities to offer creative spaces for rent to local artists. This led to the creation of the Stonebriar “Rehab Center” and “The Ben’s Automotive” venue, where we hosted events supporting Austin’s underground talent. These carefully curated events brought a vibrant mix of music, art, and culture to the city, all while empowering local creatives.

One of the most memorable collaborations was with David, the owner of Vancerts, where we organized a “free” curated an event during SXSW that highlighted music, art, and film. The temporary nature of our space—only available for six months to a year—was an intensely positive experience, with lasting connections made along the way.

Luxeart was born during the pandemic at Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. My dear friend, Austin Talley, believed in my vision of connecting people through art and music. A year later, after a period of stability, we were approached by the W Hotel and Freddos to expand. Fast forward three years, and although Stonebriar has since been demolished, our work continues. We now host some of the city’s most impactful networking events, blending media, art, and business in ways that reflect everything we’ve learned. Adding Inn Cahoots to our portfolio is a testament to our growth and the continued trust of the businesses and creatives we’ve supported over the years.

Now in our fourth year, Luxeart remains committed to providing a safe, inclusive space for creatives to connect, collaborate, and bring their visions to life. Our events continue to champion the arts, offer visibility, and create meaningful opportunities for those who need it most. We are proud to work alongside those who share our passion for fostering creativity, and we are excited to continue making a positive impact on the Austin community.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
A smart man once told me that success doesn’t happen over night. That being an entrepreneur was a daily task and that this would be something I would have to work on for more than a couple of years. As a true Aries Warrior, I never give up on anything that I’m passionate about. There were so many times that I got frustrated, whether that be people I worked with who stole my ideas claiming it to be their own, other Art companies not recognizing my business or just working with people that had other agendas. I try to think about the positives out of the negative experiences I’ve encountered. The positive for me is recognizing that there is something that you can learn from everyone & to not make everything a competition.

We’ve been impressed with Luxeart , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am the CEO of Luxeart also known as “Luxeartagency”

We are a Talent Agency, focused around Art. We work with a variety of creative Talent, supporting and managing the following : Artists, Models, Actors, Photographers, DJ’s, Musicians, Models, Comedians, Set Designers and anything in Film.

What sets us apart is that we can host an entire event with our resources and network. We work together with some of the most talented creatives in the city and we also travel to other States and Countries. We do not limit ourselves.

I’m very proud that Luxeart keeps growing and evolving into this beautiful brand that represents the Local Austin
Culture. We don’t apologize for being who we are because we embrace it. Many of the Artists have more than one talent. Instead of putting them in a box labeled with one category, we enrich ourselves in many. So you might see that we paint, sing, are on the Mothership doing comedy, filming a movie or doing a really cool event with acrobatics and DJ’s.

We keep everyone on their toes & you’ll never know what’s coming next!

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Very imaginative. My first memory is living in Germany, living in my own world with my two brothers surrounded by Art & my mother Sawyer that’s a writer. My father is a published Artist in Germany and I am related to a lot of Artists in general.

As a teenager I would write poetry constantly and make all kinds of artwork. I would call myself an Emo/HipHop/Bubble Gum music fan growing up in the 90’s. I was a popular kid that was friends with everyone and I liked to stand up for people who didn’t have a voice.

Not much has changed. Other than now being the oldest of 10 kids.
