Today we’d like to introduce you to Eddie Chan
Hi Eddie , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We started off as an online toy store and have grown to a brick and mortar in east Austin a few mins from Downtown. We carry the latest in Anime, Gundam and Transformer robot toys.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been smooth at all. Going from a full time job with a set pay check to not knowing how much you will earn each month is stressful. Covid really hit us for inventory and sales. But we’ve managed to stay strong and continue to serve the Austin community
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I started as an electrical engineer and worked for IBM for over 10 years. I now specialize in imported toys. We’re very much known for our selection of Anime products and our wide variety of transforming robots.
How do you define success?
I think success is being able to enjoy your life and work and being able to live while doing that.
