Hi Taylor, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
For a while, I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted to do. That changed when I was offered an opportunity to work for a fantastic company in Arizona. It was there that my interest in marketing was sparked. I discovered how powerful social media could be in connecting businesses with their audiences, and I became fascinated by creative and strategic aspects of the industry.
That experience ignited a passion that eventually led me to launch GloUp Social. I wanted to take what I had learned and use it to help small business owners grow their brands and shine online. As a mom, I also craved the freedom to create a life I love while making an impact, so starting my own business was the perfect path!
Since then, I’ve spent countless hours refining my skills, building relationships, and creating strategies that simplify social media marketing for busy entrepreneurs. It’s been an incredible journey of growth, and I’m so grateful for that initial spark that set me on this path.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I wouldn’t say it’s been a smooth road, but I’ve learned so much along the way. One of the biggest challenges was moving from Arizona to Texas. Starting fresh in a new state without any connections made it difficult to build relationships and get my business off the ground. I had to step out of my comfort zone and find ways to connect with other entrepreneurs and establish myself in a new community.
That’s part of what inspired me to host my upcoming Galentine’s event. It’s a space for women in business to come together, network, set goals, and support one another. I know how important it is to have a strong community, especially when you’re starting something new, and I’m so excited to create that for others while continuing to grow my own network!
