Hi Christa, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is Christa Lopez and I’m a proud mom, a hard worker, and a passionate creator from Austin, Texas. I started as a balloon artist, turning my love for creativity into a business that brings joy and beauty to people’s special moments. Now, I’m embracing a new chapter as a content creator, sharing my journey, celebrating life’s little wins, and inspiring others to pursue their passions. My story is rooted in hard work, creativity, and the drive to balance motherhood with chasing my dreams. It’s all about showing others that it’s never too late to evolve, grow, and create the life you love.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
As a mom and entrepreneur, balancing my family life with running a business has always been one of my biggest challenges. There are times when I need to juggle between spending quality time with my kids and managing my balloon artistry business, and it can be tough to find that perfect balance. Another challenge I’ve faced is the unpredictability of the business world. Running a creative business means there are high points and low points, and learning how to adapt, stay motivated, and push through when things aren’t going as planned has been a constant hurdle. Despite these obstacles, I’ve grown more resilient, learning to manage my time effectively and stay focused on my goals, while always making sure my family is my top priority.”

My business specializes in creating custom balloon arrangements and backdrops for parties and events. I started my business because of my passion for bringing joy and creativity to special occasions. Each design I create is unique, tailored to fit the client’s vision and the theme of their event. Whether it’s a birthday, wedding, or corporate gathering, my goal is to transform the space into something visually stunning and memorable. What sets my business apart is the attention to detail and the personal touch I put into each project, ensuring that every event feels special and truly one-of-a-kind.
We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
Don’t take life for granted anything can happen. I was working at the hospital at the time. It was very scary in the medical field we didn’t know what expect
