Hi Damian, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started about 6-7 years ago. It all started with the love of tattoos and my own hair loss. You see I do a treatment called scalp micro pigmentation. Which is a cosmetic tattoo for hair loss. I would have never stumbled across this service if I didn’t experience my own hair loss. At the time no one was doing this service. It was up to me to get this going. 6 yrs later I’m one of the top practitioners in scalp micro pigmentation in Texas. My clients come from all over Texas just to get treated by me. I’m very thankful and grateful to be put in the position to help others!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Quitting a normal 9-5 job in home health care and starting a business on your own is never easy. It’s mentally challenging in every sense. Being determined and taking the process one day at a time helped with the overall growth and struggles that came along. At the end of the day you can either focus on what’s tearing you apart or what’s keeping you together. I always focused on the positives the small things. That is what makes the journey worth it.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My personal life was headed no where. I saw this at a young age. So I searched on things to do. Careers to take on. It took me a while to find myself. I absolutely think scalp micro pigmentation saved my life. This is why I take each treatment personally because it changes lives. I know what it feels like to struggle with hair loss I’ve been there. I’ve sat in the seat my clients sit in. My goal was to always be the best and I’m getting there.
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
Don’t take your time on this earth for granted. If you have a dream Chase it. Don’t let obstacles determine your path. You get out and make it happen no excuses.
