Hi Nakshi, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Growing up in India, I was inspired by my mother, a fashion designer whose creativity brought joy and beauty to life. Dressing up in her designs and experimenting with styles sparked my lifelong passion for fashion and design. This passion led me to major in interior design and later pursue a master’s in sustainability at Savannah College of Art and Design, Georgia. Moving to the United States was a transformative step, merging my creative interests with a commitment to making a positive impact through sustainable design.
Two years ago, I moved to Texas, a journey that boosted my confidence and inspired me to take the challenge of becoming an influencer. Alongside my career as an Interior Designer, I began documenting my personal style, blending my love for fashion, lifestyle, and travel. My experience as a corporate professional, navigating the challenges of workwear, motivated me to share ideas that help women feel confident and empowered through fashion. Clothing, I believe, is a powerful tool for self-expression and building confidence.
Today, I juggle different hats as a designer and influencer, building a community through social media and inspiring them with fashion inspiration. My mission is to inspire women to embrace their beauty and stay ahead of fashion trends while feeling confident in their everyday lives. My journey is a testament to the power of pursuing passions and sharing your story to inspire others.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, but the challenges have shaped my journey. Managing a full-time corporate career as an Interior designer while building a presence as a lifestyle influencer has been no small feat. Both demand creativity, focus, and time, which often means juggling priorities and constantly switching gears. As a new influencer in a new city, I had to navigate everything from understanding trends and mastering editing to creating authentic content that stands out. Moving from India to the U.S. added another layer of complexity, as I had to adapt to cultural differences while crafting content that resonates with audiences in both countries.
Building a network in Texas while keeping up with the fast-paced nature of social media has been a challenge, but it’s also been a huge learning experience. Trends come and go so quickly, and balancing that with a personal touch in my content isn’t always easy. However, these struggles have taught me resilience, time management, and the importance of staying authentic. Each challenge has made me stronger, and I’m grateful for the growth it has brought, both in my career and my creative journey.

I’m a lifestyle influencer specializing in fashion, styling, and everyday aesthetics. What I love most about this journey is the ability to inspire women to embrace their personal style and feel confident in their own skin. My content blends my love for fashion, lifestyle, and travel, showcasing versatile looks that cater to both workwear and casual settings. Coming from a creative background, I enjoy experimenting with trends while staying true to timeless elegance, making my style relatable and inspiring for women balancing busy lives.
Alongside my work as an influencer, I’m also a healthcare interior designer, where I create spaces that promote wellness and healing. This dual role allows me to merge creativity and purpose in unique ways. What sets me apart as an influencer is my ability to bring a global perspective to my content, influenced by my experiences growing up in India and now living in the United States. I’m proud of the community I’ve built through social media, where I encourage women to see fashion as a powerful tool for self-expression and empowerment. My mission is to help women feel confident, stay ahead of trends, and embrace their beauty every day.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Finding a mentor or building a strong network starts with putting yourself out there and being open to connections. One of the best pieces of advice I can give is to actively engage in communities that align with your interests and goals. For me, the Instagram community has been incredibly supportive and a huge part of my networking journey. I’ve found that connecting with like-minded people through collaborations, DMs, or simply engaging with their content has helped me build genuine relationships. It’s amazing how much you can learn from others who share your passions and experiences.
It’s also important to seek out mentors or peers who inspire you and are willing to share their insights. Don’t hesitate to ask questions or reach out—most people are more open to helping than we might assume.
