Hi Santos, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Santos, I’ve always loved the outdoors.
One day I came to my father with a vision of what I wanted to do, he had an suv and a small trailer he didn’t use much. I told him that I believed in my self. I was going to Invest my money in professional lawn care equipment keeping only $20 dollars in my pocket. With my trust and faith that everything was going to workout. I Founded Refuxios Lawn & Properties in 2021. I’ve always liked challenges and pushing my self to the limit. The first of four siblings never had anyone to look up to other than my hard working parents. Which is where I get my hard work ethnic from. Special thanks to my parents. Built the business organically through word of mouth I thought to my self that if I can get this business off the ground like this, which I thought was the hardest way. I could do anything I set my mind to, I knew I made the right decision when I started getting momentum. Since I was a kiddo I’ve always wanted to own my own business I noticed that, that was the only way to have actual freedom and be there for my family.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
In the first years of my business my biggest challenge was not giving up. Which I felt like doing so many times, I just kept going. I am a firm believer that in business and in life your only competition is yourself.
At the moment my biggest obstacle right now is finding the right team to scale up, Definitely working on that. A challenge that has remained consistent throughout the years of my line of business has been mother nature. I still lover her though. lol

Growing up I’ve always been a very attentive and caring person everything I do. I do it with love. Always paying attention to the smallest details.
