Joshua, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
JPS Tattoos opened in 2023 after being in the tattoo perfession for over a decade I decided to open my studio with the vision of offering beautiful custom tattoos in a variety of styles. JPS Tattoos operates as a one on one experience with the clients interests in mind.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Any new bussiness will be no stranger to struggle. In fact our first year, we were forced to operate with out any kind of tattoo signage, per our land lords request. We were able to over come this with the help of our amazing community and clientele. Providing quality service and word of mouth referrals. Online marketing can be tricky and follows do not often yeild leads, but the genuine relationships we have buit with central Texas communities are what have kept us going.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a tattoo artist and owner of JPS Tattoos in San Marcos, Tx. I specialize in an illustrative approach to tattoos using my knowledge of styles including, traditional, neotraditional, new school, fineline, realism, micro realism, and black and grey. I am most proud of my ability to activly listen and provide various options to my clientele to aid them in telling their story.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My fiancé Carina she is my biggest cheerleader and best friend.
My Brother and our CFO Gabriel who keeps us in line and on target.
My clients, with out them I wouldn’t be able to do what I love and provide my services
