Hi Keosha, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hi , I’m Keosha Polk Founder Of Krownedd By Kee . I am A 31 year old Cosmetologist From Port Arthur,Tx with 14 Years Of Experience. I Specialize in Braids , Locs , To Wigs & Roller Sets And So Much More. I found my passion for the beauty field growing up in a salon, which was called T&C (Owner Eva Carter ). I remember how i felt as a child not liking my hair, not feeling pretty enough , getting bullied about my hair, that led me to trying things on my own hair . I was the only kid in the 1st grade with a Jerry curl at that time. And i knew then. I wanted to make a change ,So i did. Started doing hair in the 6 th grade . That led me to helping others with building their confidence and self esteem as well . I have changed so many lives as I’ve grown in this business. I love what i do it’s my passion . And want to continue to shine light on everyone i come in contact with. I’m here to teach everyone Your head is your Crown . You have to take care of it. In The Salon. We’re All FAMILY
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been a smooth road , but what comes easy never lasts. I won’t complain while every struggle could be necessary for your journey. It could build you up , build character, build a beast of the entrepreneur that you are. Being a single mother and a business owner could become overwhelming having to stay organized, but it’s all worth the struggle. To see where you come from , to where you are now. Be thankful for every struggle or detour. You’ll be grateful for every lesson in the end.

I am A Hairstylist Here in Beaumot, Tx.
I Specialize in Braiding , Weaving , Hair Coloring , &Locs. I am Well Known For My Blessed Hands , My Work , My Vibrant Energy , My Peoole Skills . I am Most Proud Of Where I Am Today And Who I’ve Become. I’m mostly proud that i NEVER gave up on my dreams as a stylist . What sets me apart is i become 1 with every client. And i understand their needs and expectations . And master it . I make every client feel special , worthy , loved , beautiful, & seen.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Finding a mentor is a big plus. We as business owners may think we know it all , but there’s always space to learn more. Smoothing edges and knowing that things change every day. And to have someone else’s positive input is always a plus. I have a few mentors whose been in the business and knows alot more. I call them the OG’s. Networking , is a must. You never know who you’ll come in contact with. Or who may see your work . Networking is great for getting your business out there .
