Today we’d like to introduce you to Tylee Personett
Hi Tylee, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey into holistic wellness began as a deeply personal one—a desire to feel more at home in my body and life. I started with yoga as I transitioned out of competitive gymnastics, but quickly realized it was so much more than movement. Yoga opened a doorway to deeper self-awareness, and from there, I found my way to Ayurveda, breathwork, and holistic health coaching.
Over the years, my practice evolved from personal exploration and growth to professional devotion. I became an IIN holistic health coach and a yoga teacher. I deepened my studies through advanced training, and expanded my work into whole-body wellness coaching, workshops, and writing. My passion has always been to create spaces—both physical and virtual—where people can reconnect with themselves in meaningful, sustainable ways.
That’s why I launched Wellness Within, my paid subscriber blog, where I share insights, practices, and resources to support holistic well-being. I also offer workshops, private coaching, and yoga teacher training, guiding others to deepen their own practice and teaching. Right now, I’m developing The Whole-Body Wellness Blueprint, an online course designed to integrate everything I teach into an accessible, self-paced program.
My work is always evolving, but the heart of it remains the same: helping others cultivate happier, healthier lives of balance, vitality, and authenticity. Whether through a blog post, an expansive workshop, or a one-on-one mentorship, I’m here to support the journey toward whole-body wellness.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The path of building a wellness-based business has been anything but linear. Like many in this space, I’ve had to navigate the balance between passion and sustainability—learning how to offer my work in a way that feels both authentic and financially viable.
One of the biggest challenges has been trusting that my voice and approach are enough. In a world full of wellness offerings, it’s easy to feel like you have to fit into a certain mold or follow trends. But the more I lean into my own experience—through my workshops, yoga classes, and my paid subscriber blog—the more I see that what resonates most with people is honesty and embodiment.
Another challenge has been the logistics of running a wellness business in a virtual space. Teaching online, creating a seamless experience for students, and ensuring my offerings truly reach the people who need them requires constant learning. But every challenge has been a lesson, and through it all, I’ve remained committed to showing up, refining my work, and creating spaces that support whole-body wellness in a real, sustainable way.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My work is centered around whole-body wellness—helping people reconnect with themselves in sustainable, embodied ways. I do this through yoga classes, whole-body wellness coaching, workshops, and my paid subscriber blog, where I share insights on holistic health, mindful living, and self-inquiry. I also lead yoga teacher trainings, guiding teachers to step into their authenticity and deepen their ability to hold space for others.
What sets my work apart is its integration of wisdom and practicality. I weave together yoga, Ayurveda, embodied movement, and reflection practices in a way that feels both grounded and accessible. Whether it’s a workshop on nervous system regulation, a yoga class designed to cultivate presence, or a blog post offering tangible wellness tools, my goal is to create experiences that truly meet people where they are.
I’m most proud of the spaces I’ve created—both in-person and virtual—where people feel safe to explore, grow, and reclaim their well-being. My work isn’t about quick fixes or surface-level wellness trends; it’s about deep, sustainable transformation. That’s what I stand for, and that’s what keeps me inspired every day.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
The pandemic was a profound turning point for me. At the time, I was working at Trader Joe’s, and while it was a challenging period for many, it was also when my energetic gifts and intuition started expanding rapidly. I found myself deeply attuned to the people around me, sensing their emotions and energies in ways I hadn’t before. It was a time of deep spiritual awakening, one that gently led me toward health coaching and holistic wellness.
That experience taught me the importance of embodiment—of learning how to stay present, grounded, and resilient in the face of uncertainty. It also reinforced that healing and transformation don’t have to be drastic; they can start as small, quiet shifts.
After the pandemic, my path became clearer. Moving to Round Rock marked a new chapter, one where I fully stepped into my calling as a yoga teacher. Looking back, I see how that time prepared me for the work I do now—guiding others through practices that cultivate presence, resilience, and whole-body well-being.
