Today we’d like to introduce you to Juliet Maggio
Hi Juliet, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Growing up, I was always the type to say, “I want to be [insert job or lifestyle here] for a month.” The idea of trying out different careers and living different lives was exciting to me, but I could never quite settle on just one. I wanted to experience everything. It turns out, television was the perfect place to explore that curiosity—jumping into a little of this and a little of that, all while meeting fascinating people along the way. From Michelin Star kitchens with world-renowned chefs to surgical suites where expert doctors are changing lives, and even interrogation rooms with FBI agents detailing how they brought down serial killers, my career has never been boring.
I started my journey in broadcast television production as a production assistant in Washington DC, working on home renovation shows for HGTV and the DIY Network. From there, I had the incredible opportunity to step into the fast-paced world of reality TV, working on shows like Real Housewives and various Discovery Channel projects. Nearly 20 years later, I found myself as a supervising producer, running field production for multi-season long series for Warner Bros. Discovery and Facebook Watch.
It was during this time that I met Max, my partner—both in life and work. Max is an expert field producer and director, specializing in reality and documentary television production. While the pandemic and unprecedented strikes hit our industry hard starting in 2020, we were incredibly fortunate to maintain our work through a network of amazing connections and sheer determination. Watching so many colleagues struggle made us realize that, as our family grew, we needed to adapt in ways that would allow us to continue doing what we love.
That’s when the idea for All the Reg Productions was born. Named after our beloved dog, Reggie, our production company became the next chapter in our journey. With the rise of new challenges, we knew we had to make our partnership official. We’ve worked on a wide range of projects, from documentaries and red-carpet events to corporate video work and brand integration. Through this work, we wear many hats—creative project managers, writers, team leaders, sounding boards, and friends. More about our past projects can be found on our website.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
While it may seem like there are endless opportunities, the reality is that there are fewer shows being produced and fewer jobs available than before. As production costs rise and the landscape shifts, many of the roles we once took for granted are harder to come by. But we thrive on challenges. We work hard to keep our network strong, maintaining those invaluable industry connections, and adapting to the changing demands of the market.
As parents, we are committed to finding more long-term stability than television production typically offers. That’s why we work to share with those outside our field that the skills we’ve honed in television—creativity, leadership, and project management—are transferable to many other industries. By staying adaptable, resilient, and always seeking opportunities to evolve, we continue to move forward. We remain dedicated to creating great work, no matter what challenges the industry presents.
As you know, we’re big fans of All the Reg Productions . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I originally came to Austin for a short three-month project, and now, nearly 10 years later, I’m still here. I absolutely fell in love with the community—the people, the culture, and the creativity that runs through everything this city does. There’s a real sense of belonging here, and it’s one of the reasons I’ve stayed for so long.
There’s nothing better than spending time on a patio with friends and colleagues, enjoying a margarita and some chips. That laid-back vibe and the ability to embrace the outdoors, even in the 100+ heat, is something special about Austin.
As a new mom, I really appreciate the co-working spaces and sense of community, especially within the vibrant Austin mom world. It’s been amazing to connect with other parents and balance work and family in such a supportive environment.
