Today we’d like to introduce you to Lindsey Means
Lindsey, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My story began in Austin, Texas, where I spent years behind the chair as a hairstylist. I loved connecting with people, holding space for their stories, and helping them feel beautiful. But even then, I could sense something deeper stirring beneath the surface — something sacred calling me forward.
Hair holds energy, and I started to notice that my clients weren’t just coming for a fresh cut or color. They were coming for transformation. Healing. Permission to let go. Our sessions began to feel more like ceremonies. Without realizing it, I was already doing the work I do now — just in a different form.
As I deepened my own healing journey, I was initiated into a whole new world: Human Design, energetics, nervous system regulation, and the power of masculine and feminine energy. I started weaving these practices into my own life, experimenting, evolving, and embodying what it meant to live in alignment with my soul’s blueprint.
Eventually, I followed the nudge to leave the salon and fully step into the unknown. I began offering online sessions, courses, and ceremonies that fused ancient wisdom with modern strategy. What started as a personal experiment transformed into a global movement — helping soulpreneurs, couples, and families create sacred union within themselves and in their relationships and businesses.
Today, I guide others through their own initiations. Whether through Human Design, ceremony, or alchemical business mentoring, my work is devoted to helping people remember who they are, trust their inner guidance, and live turned on by life.
This path hasn’t been linear — it’s been cyclical, intuitive, and deeply guided. And I wouldn’t change a thing. Every version of me — the stylist, the seeker, the soul guide — still lives in the work I do today.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There have been seasons of deep uncertainty, financial hardship, and moments when I questioned everything — my path, my worth, my capacity to hold it all. Leaving the salon world meant walking away from something familiar and secure, and stepping into the unknown brought up every shadow I hadn’t yet faced.
I had to unlearn hustle culture and heal my relationship with the masculine. I burned out. I overgave. I tried to build my business the “right” way, only to realize my power came from doing it my way — in rhythm with my own cycles, my Human Design, and my connection to the divine.
One of the biggest struggles was learning how to hold myself through emotional initiations — heartbreak, money wounds, imposter syndrome — all while trying to support others. But those moments became my greatest teachers.
I also had to face my own shadows around visibility, leadership, and allowing myself to be seen as a guide, not just a safe space for others. There were months where I could barely pay rent, where I maxed out credit cards to invest in my vision, and where I had to surrender control again and again.
But every time I hit a low, it cracked me open to something deeper. I’ve learned how to co-regulate with life, to anchor into trust, and to keep choosing devotion over fear.
It hasn’t been easy — but it’s been sacred. And that’s the medicine I now bring into my work with others.
We’ve been impressed with Find Your WAI, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is a sacred blend of soul, strategy, and ceremony.
I guide soul-led individuals and couples through deep transformation in life, love, and business — all through the lens of Human Design, energetics, nervous system regulation, and divine union work. I specialize in helping people reconnect with their true essence, heal the layers of conditioning holding them back, and embody their highest expression.
What I’m most known for is making the mystical feel practical — whether it’s using Human Design to grow a business, guiding couples into sacred union, or helping soulpreneurs create aligned offerings and content that actually feels good to share. My clients often say I make them feel deeply seen, safe, and empowered — like they can finally exhale and be themselves.
I offer a range of experiences, from 1:1 mentorship and couples work to group programs, digital courses, and my signature membership, The Empress Sanctuary — a sacred space for soulpreneurs to align with their design, activate their power, and rise in sisterhood (and soon, brotherhood too!).
What sets my brand apart is the devotion woven into everything I do. This isn’t just coaching — it’s a ceremony. A frequency. A remembrance. My work is not about fixing anyone; it’s about guiding them back to their own truth and helping them create from that place.
I’m most proud of how authentic my brand feels — it’s a reflection of my personal journey, my values, and the divine blueprint I came here to live. Every offering I share is an extension of my soul.
For readers curious about what’s next — I’m currently launching Embody Your Design, a 30-day program that bridges foundational Human Design with embodiment and nervous system work. It’s designed for anyone who’s tired of just knowing their chart and ready to live it.
Whether someone is calling in aligned love, building a soul-led business, or simply wanting to feel more like themselves again — my work is here to guide them home.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Devotion.
More than anything, I believe devotion has been the key to my success — devotion to my path, to my healing, to my clients, and to the unseen forces guiding it all.
There have been so many moments where logic would’ve told me to quit. Where things didn’t make sense on paper. Where I had to trust what I couldn’t yet see. But my unwavering devotion kept me going — not just to an outcome, but to the process of becoming who I’m here to be.
I’m not attached to doing things the “right” way. I’m devoted to doing them the true way — the way that honors my design, my energy, and the mission I’ve been called to live out.
That devotion has created a magnetic field around my work. People feel it. They feel the integrity, the embodiment, and the heart that goes into every offering I create. And I believe that’s why my brand continues to grow — not because I have it all figured out, but because I’m deeply committed to walking my talk and being in alignment with what I teach.
