Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started the clothing brand Lafe clothing in 2021. The meaning behind the brand, is (LOYALTY AIN’T FOR EVERYBODY). Loyalty plays a huge part of our lives. Rather it’s a relationship, friendship, or even a situation. I felt like Loyalty Begin to lose it’s meaning to people. You can’t have love without Loyalty or Loyalty without love. They both play hand to hand. Lafe clothing is a movement. It’s not just a clothing brand. We want to bring back the meaning of Loyalty back into the world. We won’t stop, until are message is clear and people understand Loyalty is important.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Life in general isn’t a smooth road. But when it comes to the sales industry. Sales have it’s ups and downs. One month it’s good and some months great, and other months it’s not do all that great. The key thing I’ve learnt as a sales/independent clothing brand, is knowing everyone won’t like your products or support your business. When sales ain’t doing well, continue to grind and work hard.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’ve always loved fashion. Growning up, I didn’t have the best of clothing or shoes. As I gotten older. I always wanted my own clothing brand. Here I am today owning my own clothing brand and making the best out of it. Something about clothing, that makes you feel good about yourself. Look good, feel good. I’m very proud of my team. My team works hard on the brand. We’re always trying to figure ways to improve and grow. What sets us apart from others or other brands. I think our work speaks for itself.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Everyone will not support you. I used to worry about who supported me. But I learnt not to worry who’s supporting me because at the end of the day, people will support if they want.
