Meet Aramis Ferrer of Ferrarainsurance LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aramis Ferrer.

Hi Aramis, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My name is Aramis Ferrer, Venezuelan, with 12 years of experience in Petroleum Engineering and a Master’s degree in Industrial Operations Management.

It all started with a business venture in the area of food and beverage entertainment for the public. TK Bittermans, one of Houston’s oldest bars, was founded in 1983, when I was 42 years old. However, during the pandemic, we declined and I was almost bankrupt.
Due to this situation, I started as a food delivery driver for food delivery apps to cover the monthly expenses for my home and the bar.

This education led me to reinvent myself and seek new opportunities. Among them, the main idea was to prepare and become certified as an immigration assistant, where I obtained certification from the Cemigra Union, which operates within the legal framework of the United States.

I moved from Houston to Austin in 2022 for the following reasons: I fell in love with this vibrant city, full of life, a music and art scene, and a student atmosphere. Additionally, its natural landscapes, such as the Colorado River and Zilker Park, Lady Bird Lake, and other parks, offer the perfect opportunity for outdoor recreation, such as kayaking, hiking, and biking.

Austinians are proud of their city for “Keep Austin Weird,” maintaining an original, independent lifestyle and an alternative spirit. They tend to be progressive and open-minded, receptive to new ideas and social causes.

Austin is the live music capital of the world, and artistic entrepreneurs. They are very friendly, relaxed, and active in community, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement. They have a strong environmental culture, are concerned with recycling and organic food, and are highly receptive to immigrants from other nations.

I was invited to a meeting scheduled by my current boss, Jose Lucena, who had invited our mutual colleague, William Arambule. In August 2024, the business model was presented by Director Adolfo Acosta, who shared his own career success story. I liked it because it was brief, concise, and to the point.

My best friend, Nelangela, came with me from Canada on vacation and encouraged me by saying the following words: “Do it, you will be very successful. You don’t know how valuable you are in helping people.”

It was in November 2024 that I studied with the Leon Partners Insurance Academy, with excellent results. I studied for three weeks and passed the exam, which is quite tedious, and obtained my Texas Health and Life Insurance Sales License.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest challenge is passing the State Exam to obtain your license, as it’s challenging, the study material is extensive, and even more so when you’re unfamiliar with the terms. The exam lasts 2.5 hours with 150 questions.

For me, it’s been an easy path because the Leon Partners Insurance Academy has supported me every day with the study material and prepared me to improve every day.

In this company, they prepare you to be capable of leadership with purpose and integrity. It’s not simply about being a sales agent. “No,” it’s about developing yourself as a future leader, manager, or director.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Ferrara Insurance is my business. It was born from the idea of my mentors, Jose Lucena, Armanda Delgado, Adolfo Acosta, Johana, and Bryan Ovalles, CEO of Leon Partner Insurance, with more than six years of experience and currently with 1,100 agents nationwide.

We are a business model that can be replicated by others, guaranteeing career success and purposeful leadership for those who want to join us.

We help people connect with the financial protection they need to face health risks.

Our main market is Hispanics who immigrate to the US, and we educate them that their protection is an obligation, since if they are not protected, it can cause serious financial problems in the future. Many of them lack this health culture and view it as something less important due to their culture. They can go up to more than 10 years without insurance.

Life Stories:

My daughter’s father was diagnosed with melanoma skin cancer in 2023. He was insured with health insurance, but didn’t have supplemental insurance. This insurance provided him with cash when he couldn’t work due to his cancer treatment, helping him financially on his days off.

One of my best friends passed away in 2023. Gregory was having dinner when he started coughing, and the food went into his lungs, causing a heart attack and a lack of oxygen to the brain for more than 30 minutes. He survived but remained in a vegetative state. He then passed away three months later. Gregory hadn’t protected himself and left his loved ones, wife, and daughters, without financial protection.

I want you to know that making money comes with a lot of physical effort in this country, but I invite you to improve your quality of life. I invite you to earn around $120,000 annually, create your empire, and transform yourself into financial freedom and family time.

With a small investment of just $250, which will pay for your schooling and your Health and Life Insurance Agent license, in just 3 weeks of study, you can earn around $5,000 in your first month.

In my first month of work, in December 2024, I earned $14,000 in sales of Health, Compensation, Dental, and Life insurance policies.

I currently maintain an average of $10,000 per month until April 2025.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
Uncertainty is a constant in our lives. We don’t know what the future holds, and while no one wants to think about the worst, it’s crucial to be prepared.
Here, insurance plays a fundamental role, providing immense relief and preventing medical costs from becoming an unsustainable expense. To protect your family financially, supplemental insurance covers dental care and vision.

Insurance is often seen as an expense, but in reality, it’s an investment in our peace of mind. My experience has taught me that it’s not just precautionary, but also loving and responsible toward ourselves and our loved ones.
