Today we’d like to introduce you to Didier Stunner.
Hi Didier, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My acting/modeling journey debuted back in the summer of 2022 where I felt in love with the art and decided on pursuing a career in entertainment. After completing training at John Casablancas Centers in the fall of the same year, I fully began applying and auditioning for TV and fashion shows. In the summer of 2023, I successfully booked my first fashion show with the Fashion Life Tour (TFL) in New York as a model. Moreover, in the fall of 2023, I was casted as a background actor for the movie “The Perfect Christmas”. In 2024, through networking with other creatives in the industry, I successfully booked for several fashion shows in New York and Miami which turned out to be a very productive year since beginning my career. Fast forward to 2025, I moved to Austin from DC where I thought was a breathing ground for fashion and TV. So far in Austin, I’ve successfully booked a TV commercial for a beer company (Michelob ultra) and was also booked for a fashion street campaign at the South by Southwest festival (SXSW). Currently, I’ve managed to book my first major acting role for a student film “Through Time” which would be out soon. Overall, it’s been an amazing journey so far and I definitely look forward to bigger opportunities to sky-rock my career.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The journey has been challenging so far. I’ve reached out to several agencies from the start of my career for representation, but it hasn’t been fruitful just yet thus limiting potential big opportunities with big brands. Moreso, I’m very optimistic about what is to come in the near future.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
As mentioned earlier, I’m a model and actor specializing in high fashion, TV Commercials and Film. My work ethic on/off set is something I hold in high regards. Moreover, my aura, uniqueness and physical appearance are what separate me from others.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I had a small circle both at school and in the community. In addition, soccer was my main sport of interest and dancing during cultural nights in school.
