Hi Bre, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
As far back as I can remember I’ve always kept a camera in my hand. In recent years, I decided to challenge myself and explore more aspects of my photography journey. Stepping out of my comfort zone, I took it upon myself to become a Certified Photographer as well as a studio owner. Although photography holds a special place in my heart, I also have a very fulfilling career as a medical assistant.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it hasn’t always been a smooth road, I still work my 9 to 5 full time, and having free time and still making time for my family and friends isn’t the easiest; I started my journey right before COVID happened. Ha ha with that being said, I truly couldn’t work on my craft while everything in the world was going on. But no great road doesn’t have a few humps and bunks and potholes to work around.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a Lifestyle photographer, a wife and a fur-mom of two beautiful pit bulls. Central Texas native, I am the youngest of eight.
Warm, down-to-earth lifestyle photography for modern couples and families. Berry Pleased Photography began five years ago, with the belief that we all hope to have something tangible to pass on to the next generation. I make sure every client can hold onto moments in time that tell their story –one that is authentic and true to your heart.
As a photographer, I offer a comfortable family-like atmosphere where you can be your genuine authentic self! I offer custom props, music, balloons, and confetti, also in the studio, in your home or in unique locations that fit your dynamic. To families in Killeen, Harker Heights, Copperas Cove, Belton, Temple, Waco, Austin, and the surrounding area.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
My best qualities are to make sure you as my clients are comfortable and having fun, with your in-home cheerleader at every session. I feel my success is attributed to me being a person before business I get to know each one of my clients before their sessions so we can have the comfortability coming into the session. On the day of the session, my client and I will be family rather than strangers.
