Twisted Oaks Barbque LLC started all in good fun. Backyard cookouts with good vibes with family and friends. Friends and family started asking if I can cook them a brisket for an event they had coming up either for work or just didn’t want to show up to a party empty handed. After that we started catering small parties/events and before we knew it we were catering for 100 -250 people. Now we have a seasonings company to go along with our catering company. Sometimes it gets a little hectic while trying to maintain a full time job. I’m a full-time Mailman in Austin Tx and my lady is a full-time nurse. Without out God and faith none of this is possible.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
If it was easy, everybody would be doing this, God puts us through trials and tribulations.
We’ve been impressed with Twisted Oaks Barbque LLC , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are family owned business. We pay attention to the small details when catering your event.
We can cater weddings/ Quinceañera/ family and work events. Don’t Get It Twisted We Do Tacos Too! Taquizas and Discada. We try to use a lot of local products.
When it comes to meats my BBQ brothers and I have a saying
“If It aint prime, don’t waste my time!”
What do you like and dislike about the city?
