Today we’d like to introduce you to Lindsay Neuren.
Hi Lindsay, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Absolutely—happy to share. I was born and raised in Austin, Texas, back when it still had that small-town feel, before it became the fast-paced, tech-driven city it is today. Growing up here definitely shaped me—there’s a real sense of community, creativity, and grit that I think stuck with me from an early age.
After college, I wasn’t entirely sure what path I wanted to take, but I’d always had an interest in homes—architecture, design, and especially the way a space can impact people’s lives. That curiosity eventually led me to real estate after a decade in the nonprofit world. I started out as a solo agent, learning the ropes, making cold calls, doing open houses—whatever it took to build a foundation. It was tough, but I loved the challenge and the opportunity to build real relationships with clients.
As the business grew, I began to think more strategically about scaling and collaboration. That’s when I connected with my business partner Ross Speed. We had similar values, complementary strengths, and a shared vision for what a modern real estate experience could look like. So we made the decision to merge our businesses. It was a big leap, but looking back, it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Together, we’ve been able to grow something that’s not only successful, but also truly client-focused and community-driven.
It’s been a journey—full of late nights, tough lessons, and a lot of growth—but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not a smooth road—but I think that’s part of what’s made the journey meaningful. Real estate is one of those industries where you’re constantly learning, adapting, and sometimes just grinding through the tough spots.
When I first started, it was just me. No assistant, no marketing team—just a lot of hustle. I remember juggling open houses on the weekends, late-night paperwork, and trying to build a name in a crowded market. There were months early on when deals would fall through at the last second, and you start questioning if you’re cut out for it.
Merging the business with Ross was a huge step forward, but even that came with growing pains. Blending two different client bases, systems, and workflows—while exciting—also meant a lot of trial and error. We had to figure out how to align not just operationally, but also in terms of how we wanted to show up for our clients and our team.
On top of that, the Austin market itself has changed dramatically—fast growth, high demand, rising prices. Navigating that for clients while keeping their best interests at the center has been both a challenge and a responsibility we take seriously.
But through it all, the struggles have made the wins that much more rewarding. Every hurdle has taught us something—about resilience, about leadership, and about how to keep showing up and doing the work with integrity.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Our business is rooted in real estate, but what we really do is guide people through some of the most important transitions of their lives. Whether it’s buying a first home, upsizing for a growing family, relocating, or selling a longtime property, we’re there every step of the way—not just to close deals, but to create a thoughtful, streamlined experience.
We specialize in residential real estate throughout the greater Austin area, and we’re especially known for combining local expertise with a very modern, personalized approach. We’re not just about listings and lockboxes—we focus heavily on strategy, design, marketing, and negotiation. Every client is different, so we tailor everything we do to fit their goals and lifestyle.
One of the biggest things that sets us apart is how collaborative we are. When Ross and I joined forces, we built a team and culture that really values transparency, communication, and staying ahead of the curve. We invest in the tools, the education, and the systems to make the process as smooth and enjoyable as possible. But more importantly, we treat people like people—not transactions.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the trust we’ve built. A lot of our business comes from referrals and repeat clients, which tells me we’re doing something right. People know us for being honest, detail-oriented, and fiercely committed to their success. We’re not here to be the biggest—we’re here to be the most trusted.
What I want readers to know is that we’re here for the long haul. Whether you’re ready to buy tomorrow or just starting to think about selling a year from now, we’re a resource. We’re not about pressure—we’re about partnership. And if you want a team that’s going to show up, advocate for you, and actually make the process enjoyable—we’d love to connect.
