Meet Amber Worner

Today, we’re honored to introduce you to Amber Worner—mother of two young men, wife, pediatric psychotherapist, parenting coach, community builder, and co-founder of multiple mission-driven ventures designed to support families, foster healing, and bring people together.

Hi Amber, tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m a Mom in the Hill Country of Central Texas giving it my best shot at living an intentional life with my precious boys and incredible husband of 20 years. I think you want to know more about my professional life. It’s a long story—but here’s the short version!

I became a child psychotherapist because I wanted to support kids and families in the ways I wish my own family had been supported growing up. We all parent from our past, whether we realize it or not. I had incredibly loving parents who were doing their best while carrying their own generational baggage—and when I became a mom, I quickly realized I wasn’t an exception to that cycle.

Thankfully, my career forced me to confront my own history and begin the journey toward healthier parenting. Did you know that 80% of us parent from the same attachment style as our great-grandparents? That’s the kind of legacy we pass on if we’re not aware and intentional.

That realization shaped my entire professional focus. Today, I only work with children whose parents are also willing to engage in parent coaching. Why? Because lasting change happens when we work with the whole family system. This has led to public speaking, teaching, and creating online resources for families who want to raise kids with resilience, confidence, security, and deep-rooted love. I specialize in working with Christian parents, but the tools I teach are helpful to families of all faiths and beliefs.

Tell us about your new venture, Well House Healing.
Well House Healing is a wellness spa rooted in the belief that mind, body, and spirit healing must go hand-in-hand. This project was born from a place of deep grief.

Eighteen years ago, my husband and I were overjoyed to be expecting our first child. But that joy turned to devastation when doctors misdiagnosed me with an ectopic pregnancy and administered methotrexate—unknowingly ending a perfectly healthy pregnancy. I still remember a nurse saying, “Must be the full moon—there’s been an abnormal number of ectopic cases this week.” That moment haunts me. I often wonder how many other viable pregnancies were lost due to misdiagnosis.

That loss awakened something in me. I began a journey of learning to trust my body, listen to my intuition, and explore holistic healing. Through a powerful prayer in the midst of my pain God led me to people who taught me how to heal my family. I’ll never gorget driving down 620 in Austin in tears, grieving and asking God to teach me how to care for my family with my own hands. He did just that. I went from eating McDonalds to grinding organic wheat berries to bake bread, pickle, garden, and heal with herbs, oils, and prayers.

In todays environment we can’t easily detox all the poisons, plastics, and toxins our bodies are bombarded with through the air, water, food, and personal products. Well House Healing offers tools to detox and repair on a cellular level. We offer products like red light therapy, PEMF, infrared sauna, cold plunge, oxygen therapy, vibration therapy, muscle building equipment, health classes, and more. It’s a community of support for those ready to feel their best—body, mind, and soul.

What about Frontyard Brewing?
Frontyard was always meant to be more than just a brewery. Of course we have to pay the bills—but our mission has always been to make our community better than we found it. That’s what excited me most when my husband Chad founded it.

Fun fact: I don’t even drink beer! That’s why we also offer delicious handcrafted seltzer cocktails, mocktails, and handcrafted CBD drinks sweetened with monk fruit for anyone like me.

Getting Frontyard off the ground wasn’t easy. Between learning how to run food trucks, operate a brewery, and navigating COVID—all while raising two amazing boys and running my therapy practice—it felt like there were never enough hours in the day.

But in the midst of all the chaos, I felt God gently reminding me not to lose sight of our original mission. That’s what led us to launch Social Collective—a ladies’ night initiative to support nonprofits that serve women and children.

What started as a way to give back has grown into a thriving, intergenerational community. Women from their 20s to their 80s gather every month to encourage one another and uplift our community. It’s beautiful, unifying, and deeply life-giving. I often walk in exhausted after a long day of work, and walk out energized by the love and kindness of the woman present.

We meet the first Tuesday of each month from 6:30–8:30pm at Frontyard. The events are free, and all profits from the evening are donated to that month’s featured nonprofit. Local businesses often contribute raffle prizes, and every dollar from raffle tickets goes directly to the cause. If you’re a business wanting to donate—or a woman looking to connect—please reach out!

Tell us more about your work.
In my coaching practice, I work with or without the child, depending on what the family needs. I’m passionate about normalizing imperfect parenting and helping parents feel seen and supported. My goal is to equip them with tools to raise responsible, confident, and emotionally healthy kids.

With local clients, I often work directly with the child while coaching the parents simultaneously. It’s a holistic, whole-family approach. I also believe in the power of getting kids out of the office and into nature when possible—because healing happens everywhere.

What are you most proud of?
For Frontyard: I’m proud we’ve never lost sight of our mission—to build community and give back.

For CareFully Counseling: I’m proud to walk alongside families through the hard and sacred work of healing and growth.

For Well House Healing: It’s just beginning—but I’m beyond excited.

Do you believe in luck?
I don’t believe in luck. I believe in prayer, miracles, hard work, and the power of a supportive community.
