Today we’d like to introduce you to Christine Bazan – Hall.

Christine Bazan – Hall

Christine, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Even as a child, I found joy in capturing moments and preserving memories. In 2012, my husband gifted me my very first camera — a moment that would change my life. For the next year, I poured myself into learning everything I could about photography. I studied, practiced on many willing friends and family members, and worked tirelessly until I found and perfected my own style.

Today, Captured Moments by Christine has grown into so much more than I ever imagined. We are now a talented and passionate team, offering not only newborn and wedding photography, but also content creation and day-of coordinating services for our wedding clients. Our work allows us to walk alongside our clients through life’s biggest milestones — from “I do” to welcoming new life, and everything in between.

While our style is rooted in natural light, we are also experts in using artificial lighting to bring creativity and clarity to even the darkest settings. Every project is an opportunity to tell a unique story, blending technical skill with heartfelt artistry.

The ability to expand my creativity through different outlets is what excites me every single day. I wake up truly loving what I do — capturing not just images, but the emotions, connections, and moments that matter most.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Becoming a photographer is so much more than standing behind a camera and taking photos. Running a photography company means balancing the creative side with the business side — handling customer service, managing accounting, marketing, scheduling, and so much more. We wear many hats, and the behind-the-scenes work can be just as demanding as the photography itself. It’s consumed countless hours, sometimes taking time away from family and those rare moments of self-care (yes, even the “me time” I promise myself!).

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Captured Moments by Christine is more than just a photography company, we are storytellers dedicated to preserving life’s most meaningful moments. Our business has grown from a one-woman dream to a talented team of photographers, content creators, and day-of wedding coordinators and are always evolving.

What sets us apart is the way we combine artistry with personalized care. We believe every client deserves more than just beautiful images… they deserve an stress-free, enjoyable process from start to finish. Brand-wise, we are most proud of the trust and loyalty we’ve earned over the years. Many of our clients return again and again, because of the stress free process, the direction they get during their session and the constant communication letting out clients know they are always on our mind.

If there’s one thing we want readers to know, it’s that our work is fueled by genuine connection. We don’t just take pictures… we capture the essence of people, the emotion of the day, and the beauty in between. Whether it’s a wedding day, a newborn’s first portraits, or a candid moment you didn’t even realize happened, our goal is to create heirloom-quality memories you’ll treasure for a lifetime.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I love most about our city is the sense of community and connection. People genuinely support local businesses and celebrate each other’s successes. There’s a warmth here from familiar faces at the coffee shop to the way neighbors look out for one another that makes it feel like home. I also love how our city blends small-town charm with enough events, traditions, and opportunities to keep life vibrant and interesting.

What I like least is that sometimes our city can be slow to grow in certain areas, whether that’s new business opportunities, creative spaces, or resources for small business owners. While that can be challenging, I also see it as an opportunity for entrepreneurs like myself to step in, innovate, and help shape the future of our community.
