Meet Pree of The Art of Nirvana

Today we’d like to introduce you to Pree.

Hi Pree, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
After working in Corporate America from 2007 – 2013, I felt that something was off. I’ve been consistently unhappy in all areas of my life and I needed to change or, I was not going to end up well. After thorough reflection, I noticed I became obsessed with self-growth. During this time, I also became aware that I had a natural ability to connect authentically with people, and that it was my responsibility to educate people on my findings so that they could no longer suffer a lifetime of misery and pain.

In 2014, I opened up Nirvana GYM. During these years I received my certifications as a Personal Trainer, a Fitness Nutrition Specialist, a Registered Yoga Teacher, and a Meditation Teacher. Throughout the next five years, as I was operating the gym, I realized that most people were using the gym as a coping mechanism rather than a way to create healthy habits. Once that became abundantly clear to me, I closed up shop and did more research on mindset, habit-creation, and reaching fulfillment. These lessons are the result of one of my many findings and has served as a guideline for me and many others in terms of reducing their stress and anxiety.

Fast forward to today, that journey led me to create The Art of Nirvana — a program where I help people slow down, find calm in the middle of life’s chaos, and to allow them to truly love themselves again.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but I’ve learned that growth rarely comes from comfort. When I started The Art of Nirvana, I was rebuilding from scratch, facing doubt, financial uncertainty, and the fear of whether people would truly connect with my message.

One of my biggest challenges was helping people see that reducing stress isn’t about quick fixes — it’s about rewiring habits, shifting perspectives, and committing to long-term change. There were times I questioned if I was reaching the right audience or making enough of an impact, but every obstacle deepened my understanding of what people really need: compassion, structure, and accountability.

Each challenge has shaped me into a better coach and person. It taught me to slow down, trust the process and stay connected to why I started — to help people find a sense of peace, clarity, and balance in their own lives, even when things feel uncertain.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Through The Art of Nirvana, I help people manage stress and anxiety by building self-discipline, focus, and lasting habits for a balanced, fulfilling life. My coaching goes beyond quick fixes, it’s about creating real, lasting change through practical and personalized guidance.
