Hi Bri, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
As the Sales Manager for the beautiful Cactus Moon Lodge, I bring my 10 years of expertise in the wedding and events industry to my role in connecting with couples, groups, and corporations to host the most relaxing and restorative weekend they can imagine, celebrating their love, team or accomplishments. I began my career in marketing and corporate events before focusing on private events and weddings. I opened my own wedding planning company with a team of coordinators and ran that for 5 years. I have always been drawn to the idea of finding a venue that I truly believe in and that offers something special. I was lucky enough to find Cactus Moon, and have helped to start and grow their events program for the past 4 years. As an intimate venue that specializes in gatherings for 100 or less or lodging groups of 20 or less, we are always searching for the next offering or focus to elevate what the venue can bring in a time when everyone needs a getaway to find that reset!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I found my place in events as a type A personality who loves connecting with others and helping them achieve something great out of what can be a stressful experience. Emotions are always high in events, but I quickly found that I always learned something new with each event I was a part of. I’ve been lucky enough to lean on connections and intuition whenever I have wanted to pivot within the events industry – so trusting your gut is something I always give advice on when it comes to your career in this fast paced space!

As the Sales Manager for Cactus Moon Lodge, I bring in prospective couples and groups looking for a unique space in Hill Country for their wedding, gathering or retreat. As someone who knows the magic of the venue and what we can offer, I love to help prospective clients visualize what they can experience here. From there, once we get the chance to work together, I pride myself in staying tightly connected throughout the planning process: offering advice on aspects of the event or weekend getaway, connecting the clients with like-minded vendors, or recommending unique experiences to elevate their stay. I’m always a quick call or email away, and I believe our clients can feel and appreciate that I always have their back whether it directly relates to the venue or not.
