Meet Dr. Brooke Osborne, D.C. of Will Flower Chiropractic

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Brooke Osborne, D.C..

Dr. Brooke, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m a Texas native from Fort Worth. I grew up in a bilingual household as my parents are Deaf, so I was learning American Sign Language before I could speak. I always had a fascination for biology and the natural world as I always wanted to be outside, mostly playing outdoor sports (field hockey, soccer, and track & field). I was recruited to play NCAA Division I field hockey at Davidson College in Davidson, NC where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology. I wanted to combine my fascination with the wonder that is the human body and my love of service, and so I found Chiropractic to be the natural choice to pursue my passions. I earned my Doctorate in Chiropractic from Parker University in Dallas, which is also where I met my husband, Dr. Kyle. During Chiropractic school, I discovered my true calling to care for families, especially mothers, babies, and children. I completed post-doctoral training through the International Pediatric Chiropractic Association where I got certified in the Webster technique, which is specific to supporting moms during pregnancy. Through studying the philosophy, science, and art of Chiropractic, I gained a deep and powerful understanding of how incredibly wise and intelligent our bodies are. Helping families discover that true health springs from within is what I am passionate about. I’m committed to serving families with an abundance of love and light through the transformative power of Chiropractic care. My husband, Dr. Kyle, and I wanted to open our Chiropractic practice somewhere that had easier access to nature, and so we moved to the Hill Country and opened our family-based Chiropractic practice, Will Flower Chiropractic, in Buda this past summer.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of the biggest challenges we had in our journey was finding a location for the practice. We wanted to have enough space so that a whole family could come in to get adjusted together. We also wanted the location to be in an area that provided a feeling of calmness as you were arriving and leaving. Sitting in traffic can be stressful enough as it is. We didn’t want people to have a calming and healing adjustment and then feel overwhelmed as soon as they got back on the road. It took us months to find a location that would work, and we found it in Buda. It is easily accessible, and it also has a lot of natural scenery surrounding the building with natural light coming in through the windows. Our heart-centered space offers an opportunity for busy families to slow down and reconnect to themselves and to each other.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Will Flower Chiropractic?
Will Flower Chiropractic is where vitality naturally blooms and Buda’s home for natural family health. We specialize in nervous system-focused, vitalistic Chiropractic care for the whole family. We support pregnant mamas, babies, kids, teens, parents, and individuals in the community by connecting them to their abundant inner wisdom through gentle and specific Chiropractic adjustments. We are passionate about helping families and individuals increase their ability to adapt to life stressors as well as optimize their ability to heal naturally. The care we provide is focused on clearing interference to the nervous system.

Everyone has a nervous system, and it is the first system to form in the womb. The nervous system is the primary system that controls and regulates every other system and function in the body. The nervous system is also how we interact with the world. It is how we organize, send, and receive information as well as how we communicate with others and our environment. Sometimes stress, which comes largely in three forms: physical, chemical, and mental-emotional, can surpass the nervous system’s ability to adapt. When this happens, the stress ends up being stored in the body in some way, and this causes interference to the body’s normal function. Chiropractic adjustments work to clear this interference and restore the neurological foundation to proper function and healing. By experiencing this transformative care, your vitality will bloom, and your life will flower!

What’s next?
We are really excited to start offering family-oriented, holistic workshops and events that focus on living naturally with topics ranging from health consciousness, nature connection, stress management, better sleep habits, preparing for pregnancy and birth, nutrition, and more.
