Matt, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
All serendipity, right place right time and willing to take a risk . In 2003 When my boss was evicted for non payment of rent I scooped up all the equipment and signed a lease under a new name, Daily Juice.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Smooth road ? More like smoothie sailing! Sure there’s a storm every once in a while on the high seas but usually just wait for the four winds blow you home again.
As you know, we’re big fans of JuiceLand. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We are a juice and smoothie bar that also make plant-based meals, tonics, and wellness shots. I’m proud of our delicious smoothies and amazing crew, but I’m most proud of my executive team comprised mainly of dedicated overachievers that have been with the company for 14 years or more. Six of the eight people on that executive team have been with us since we only had two stores.
