Today we’d like to introduce you to Nadia Kravets.
Hi Nadia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My name is Nadia. I was born and raised in Ukraine. When I was eight years old, my uncle moved to USA, and ever since then I’ve dreamed of living in America. I even prayed to God for this, and miracle happened; I got my visa and I moved when I was 22. Now I am citizen of my lovely country, and I am very proud of it.
M journey was very difficult, when arrived I didn’t have much money, but everything was new and very interesting for me .In Ukraine, people said than America is a country with many opportunities. Starting a new life in another country without knowing the language and with everything being new is not always easy, you must be a very hard-working person. after 2 years I graduated from Pharmacy Technician School, we took State exam and were allowed to use translators. I worked at Pharmacy but always wanted to do something different.
in Ukraine, I studies to be a fashion designer I like seeing the world in a color, from a different perspective. I wanted to find some similar job, industry to work in. One day I decided to open a flower shop It’s related to design, it’s also about working with people I see them smiling, even if they’ve experience great sorrow.What you create with your own hands you bring little piece of happiness into their home. My job brings me immense pleasure. I’ve found my calling, I love it very much.
Working in a flowers shop, you have to be a little bit of a psychologist, I wouldn’t hesitate to say that because I often listen to people stories, and you empathize with their situation, understand and supporting them in the best way I can. I do my my job as the best I can, and that’s why we got 5 stars reviews. I am very grateful to all my clients.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
When you start a new business , I don’t think there’s an easy path ;you can make a lots of mistakes , and you learn every day .If you work with people , the most important things is study your customers , what they like , what they want ;you need to listen to them and fulfill their order with LOVE.

I make flowers for any occasions, Wedding, Birthday, Celebration of Life ,Party,-any design ,any taste .It brings me a great pleasure and pride that my clients are so diverse – people of different ages and tastes -and they all very happy and love my arrangements. I feel around of my work when I receive a 5 star rating and text messages of thanks from people .
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I see my business growing. Having so many regular customers speak volume. I receive orders from all the world. The last week order was received from France.
