Hi Lori , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hi, my name is Lori Garza, and I’m the owner and founder of The Beauty Room & Co, located in Round Rock. We have been serving the community for five years. I started my career in the beauty industry with a goal to help women feel confident in their natural beauty. After becoming a licensed esthetician in 2019 and gaining hands-on experience, I took a leap of faith and opened my studio in 2021.
Our mission is to serve the women in our community by helping them enhance their natural beauty through our services and our exceptional customer care. At The Beauty Room & Co, we strive to create an experience that goes beyond a beauty salon, offering a welcoming space where women feel empowered to value their natural beauty and feel confident in who they truly are.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like many small business owners, I faced challenges in the early stages, from learning the business side and wearing every hat. Managing finances, and building consistent systems took time and patience. There were moments of uncertainty, but each challenge helped shape the business into what it is today. Those experiences taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of staying grounded in my values while continuing to grow.

The Beauty Room & Co is a beauty studio in Round Rock dedicated to helping clients enhance their natural beauty in a comfortable and welcoming environment. We specialize in brow laminations, brow waxing, lash lifts and tints, facials, and permanent makeup, with a focus on results that look effortless, natural, and tailored to each individual. We are known for our attention to detail, consistency, and for enhancing natural features rather than overpowering them.
Our mission is to serve the women in our community by providing high-quality services paired with exceptional customer care. We strive to create an experience that feels personal and empowering, where clients know The Beauty Room & Co is more than just a beauty salon. It is a place where women feel confident, valued, and encouraged to embrace their natural beauty.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Over the next 5 to 10 years, I see the beauty industry continuing to move toward more personalized and natural focused services. Clients are becoming more educated and intentional, looking for results that enhance their features while supporting long-term results.
I also see a strong emphasis on education, transparency, and connection. While technology and techniques will continue to evolve, the professionals who stand out will be those who combine innovation with genuine care, trust, and a personalized client experience, which we strive to do at The Beauty Room & Co.
