Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexis Reeves.
Hi Alexis, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey has been guided by a lifelong connection to movement, wellness, and meaningful human connection. I grew up in California by the ocean, immersed in an active lifestyle that naturally led me toward teaching and service. I earned my BA from CSU Monterey Bay and began my career working with children, including those on the autism spectrum, an experience that shaped my patience, empathy, and ability to truly meet people where they are. I later transitioned into hospitality, travel, and wellness, working in spa and hotel environments where creating balance and restorative experiences for others was central. Throughout every chapter, yoga remained my anchor. In 2016, I deepened my practice and became a certified instructor, specializing in the 26 & 2 method while adapting classes to serve beginners, seniors, and advanced practitioners alike. Over time, I also incorporated sound healing to support deeper relaxation and emotional release. Today, I’m based in Austin, where I work as a traveling yogi practitioner, bringing personalized, accessible wellness experiences directly to clients and communities. My passion lies in building genuine connections, fostering balance, and helping people feel lighter, more grounded, and renewed through yoga.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My move to Texas marked a period of significant personal and professional growth. While adjusting to a new place, I found myself in a challenging relationship that ultimately did not work out and required me to rebuild emotionally and professionally. At the same time, my yoga practice deepened as I began working with students facing mobility limitations, requiring greater creativity, patience, and adaptability. Yoga became my lifeline during this period, grounding me through uncertainty and helping me rediscover my center. Working so closely with students sharpened my intuition, expanded my approach to accessible movement, and reinforced what yoga truly represents to me: connection, compassion, and meeting people exactly where they are. Those challenges didn’t close me off, they expanded me and today I feel more equipped than ever to guide people from all walks of life toward balance, strength, and renewal.
We’ve been impressed with Yoga With Alexis – Lifestyle Concierge Services, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Lifestyle Concierge Services is a personalized lifestyle and wellness brand rooted in hospitality, connection, and thoughtful experiences, with Yoga with Alexis at its core. My background spans education, hospitality, spa operations, and experiential event planning, including time working in luxury wellness environments and serving as a Culture Champion in high-energy corporate spaces. Across every role, I discovered that the true luxury people crave is feeling supported, grounded, and connected, both to themselves and to others. That realization led me to become a certified yoga instructor and unify all of my experience into one brand.
What sets my work apart as a Yoga Practitioner is its versatility, hands-on coordination, and inclusivity. I offer private, in-home or on-location yoga, adaptive group sessions, sound bath experiences, and collaborative wellness events designed around each client’s unique needs. Every experience is personally planned and led by me, ensuring it feels intentional, accessible, and deeply supportive. I’m especially proud of my ability to work across generations and backgrounds from beginners and busy professionals to seniors and individuals navigating life transitions creating safe, welcoming spaces where everyone feels seen. At the heart of my brand is the belief that wellness should feel personal, joyful, and attainable, and that yoga is a powerful tool for building genuine connection and community.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was determined, curious, and deeply connected to movement and nature. I was surrounded by a loving family, and my mother chose to be both mom and dad to my sister and me, always encouraging us with one guiding belief: never limit yourself, do what you love. Much of my childhood was spent outdoors and by the ocean, which became my sanctuary and a place where movement, breath, and presence naturally came together. Over time, that connection evolved into surfing, teaching, and eventually weaving yoga into my life as a way to support balance and longevity. Being immersed in movement from land to sea shaped my understanding of the body and deepened my appreciation for practices that create strength, calm, and connection, values that continue to guide my work today.
