Today we’d like to introduce you to Anne Weatherby.
Hi Anne, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I was a stay at home mom for over 30 years. I cared for my girls plus 85 foster children. I was a realtor for one year in California over 30 years ago. Both mine and my husband’s families were involved in real estate but I got involved by watching a close friend succeed. I knew I needed a better career for myself now that my children were grown. I took off in my 50’s and have been a top producer every year after my first.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been great but it is hard. I make myself available all the time, nights, weekends, vacations etc. It’s sales so you have to do it over and over. Sometimes it’s like a roller coaster, a slow month then a crazy busy one.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a Realtor® I own my own business. I help with buying, selling, leasing, and investing. I love helping first time buyers. It’s so exciting at closing giving them the keys. I give 5 star service and above to every client. Each client becomes part of my family. It’s not a transaction it’s a lifelong relationship.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I met my husband on a cruise and have been married 42 years.
