Hi Jesse, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Some of my earliest memories are of wandering through endless rows of plants at local nurseries with my father. Landscaping isn’t just my profession, it’s a family tradition. As a third-generation landscaper, with more than 25 years of hands-on experience, I grew up learning the craft from my father and grandfather. Then I went on to study horticulture at UCLA.
From Central California to San Diego, I have delivered landscape installations, maintenance, and consultations on everything from modest residential yards, to the lush gardens of mega-estates, and large corporate properties. I do my best to approach every project, regardless of size or client, with the same commitment to quality, integrity and results. Having collaborated with some of the country’s leading landscape architects and designers, I specialize in creating long-term, solution-focused landscapes, that are as beautiful as they are practical.
I moved to Texas to raise my growing family, and look forward to expanding my craft here even further. I treat every project with the same care that I’d give my own home and family.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Building a small business, I don’t think, is ever a “smooth road” for anyone. There’s definitely been struggles, but you just have to stay calm and take each hurdle as it comes. I’ve spent many nights lying awake, wondering how I was going to make it all work. Brainstorming endless ways to approach things. But you just do the work, and pray a lot.
