Tammy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
How did angels in the field get started? Well that’s not a story, it’s a testimony. As a single mom of 2 I worked in the medical field as a medical assistant. I always said once my boys were older I would finish up nursing school. Well I did and got into home health. Immediately I saw the disconnect in the homes and what people are needing. Needless to say it broke my heart. God wanted me to do something about it and I’ve always felt this push to open up my own agency. I ignored that push for a bit, I was a RN now and making decent wages, but that push didn’t go away, no matter how much I fought it. I said I can’t. God said you can. I said I won’t god said you will. I said I’m a nurse and I don’t know the first thing about business. He said not to worry it’ll all be okay. So I surrounded to that call. Then I waited for months and months I couldn’t figure out a name. I googled, I ChatGPT, I tried and tried to think of different things. I stressed so much that I delayed opening. Then one day out of nowhere, like a bolt of lightning right into my brain “Angels in the Field” I knew then and there where the message came from.. We are a faith based, family owned and operated caregiving agency. When our team comes to your home I know without a shadow of a doubt that our clients will be taken care of. We truly do put the care in caregiving
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Challenges come in every shape and form. When they do our tea is ready to handle them with dignity and grace. This road has been nothing close to smooth, but it has been very educational

RN by trade and what sets our agency apart from others is that we offer clinical oversight. With my 21 + years in healthcare we are able to navigate you and tour family thru certain situations and specific conditions, diseases
Who else deserves credit in your story?
The clients no doubt. We have some of the sweetest most amazing God fearing geriatrics in our client base. Each one of them offer something unique and uplifting to our day.
