Meet Bez DahDahee of Capysoft

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bez DahDahee.

Hi Bez, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Throughout my career, I’ve worn many hats that all seemed to revolve around three things: engineering, design, and communication. Whether it was helping pay my tuition while working for a web design company in college, being the only technical employee at a startup, editing a podcast, or eventually stepping into my corporate engineering role, I always found myself chasing work that combined all three in a meaningful way.

The real turning point came when my co-founder and I were talking about the side projects we were each building. We had both been creating websites and mobile apps as a hobby, often for local bands, artists, and small businesses we genuinely liked and wanted to support. The more we talked about those projects, the more I realized how fulfilling it was to use our skills to help bring attention and growth to people doing great work.

That’s when we decided to bring more structure to what had started as passion projects. Instead of simply building websites, we wanted to help businesses consistently grow, strengthen their online presence, and improve the way their brand was perceived. Before long, those early collaborations evolved into working with clients from all kinds of industries, from online storefronts and CPA firms to Spanish concierge companies. It’s been incredibly rewarding to help each of them grow in their own way.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
As any entrepreneur, business owner, engineer, artist, or anyone who has ever tried to accomplish something meaningful will tell you, it’s never a smooth road. That has been exactly our experience since we started this journey.

One of the biggest challenges we faced from the beginning was that neither of us knew much about growing a business. We were both engineers who naturally focused on delivering a great product. What we learned quickly is that if you can’t clearly communicate a product or service, no matter how well it solves a problem, it can still fail.

One of the biggest lessons I had to learn was how to step out of my silo and truly understand my target audience’s problems, then tailor our services around their actual needs rather than what I assumed those needs were.

There were plenty of other challenges along the way, and I’m sure there will be many more as we continue to grow. Any journey like this will always come with highs and lows. One of the most important takeaways for me has been learning how to recognize when I’m in one of those lower moments. During those times, the passion that usually drives you can feel weaker, but simply recognizing where you are in the process, and trusting that the next high is often just beyond the current challenge, has been what keeps me moving forward and growing consistently.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Capysoft?
At Capysoft, we specialize in brand and website design that not only looks great but is built to help our clients grow. Our work typically brings together web design, logo design, brand identity systems like color and typography. One of our biggest goals when working with any business is making sure the final product directly supports their business objectives. We don’t simply look at a firm and decide on a design based only on what matches their branding, we start by understanding what they’re trying to achieve.

Whether that goal is generating more client leads, bringing more attention to a storefront, increasing bookings, or building trust with a new audience, we make sure those objectives are intentionally reflected in every design decision we make.

What really sets us apart is that we don’t treat our work as a freelance-style, one-time project that gets handed off and forgotten. We want every website and brand system we build to continue serving our clients long after launch. That means we stay involved by monitoring performance, tracking how visitors move through the site, and making sure they are being guided to the right pages and taking the actions our clients want them to take.

In an age where the internet is flooded with generic website templates, it’s more important than ever for digital branding to stand out. A visitor, especially a stranger encountering a business for the first time, can decide within seconds whether to stay or leave based on how trustworthy, polished, and connected the experience feels. Slow pages, unclear messaging, or weak branding can quickly lose that trust, which is why we put so much emphasis on creating websites that feel intentional, fast, and aligned with the people they are meant to serve. The service we offer creates a digital platform that is under the control of our clients while avoiding all of these common pitfalls.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is creating work that genuinely helps people grow. At the end of the day, the most fulfilling part of this journey has never been simply building a website or creating a brand, it’s knowing that the work we do helps someone bring more attention to something they deeply care about. The best part has always been seeing the excitement and the feedback we receive after website launches.

Whether it’s a local business owner, a creative, or a firm trying to better communicate their value, I care most about helping good people doing good work get the visibility and trust they deserve.

I think that matters so much to me because throughout my own career, I’ve always been drawn to work that blends technical problem-solving with creativity and human connection. I’m very grateful that all of those have come together in the form of my business, and I’m excited help more people as I continue this journey.
