Today we’d like to introduce you to Lilah Bazarte.
Hi Lilah, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’m Lilah, founder of Pampering Pros, as well as a model and creative in photography and videography.
My journey into wellness began early on when my mom enrolled in massage school during my junior year of high school. At the time, I was in a CNA program, but I quickly realized the clinical environment was not aligned with my heart. I wanted a space where compassion, presence, and genuine care could be felt. That curiosity led me to begin massage school during my senior year, and I have been on this path ever since.
Over the years, I worked in a variety of environments, from hospital-based health clubs to Lifetime Fitness, and later at Lake Austin Spa Resort after moving to Austin in 2010. Alongside that, my creative side expanded through bodybuilding, fitness modeling, and eventually underwater modeling, which sparked a deeper love for visual storytelling through photography and videography.
In 2014, I founded Pampering Pros as a reflection of everything I have learned and experienced. Massage has always been more than a passion for me. It is part of my purpose. Creating my own business allowed me the freedom to offer more intentional, personalized experiences rooted in deep care.
What people are really seeking today is restoration, presence, and to feel genuinely seen. My approach is rooted in that awareness. I am intentional not just with my hands, but with my thoughts, often grounding myself in prayer before each session to hold space for my clients’ healing and deep rest.
I want every person who works with me to leave feeling free, loved, and whole.
Looking back, I am most proud of the relationships I have built. The people I have supported through stress, joy, tears, and transformation. It has never just been about the service, but about creating a space where people feel at home.
I am not just building a business. I am creating a world where love, connection, and community thrive.
Outside of work, I find inspiration in dancing, being in nature, and capturing beauty in everyday moments. And if you meet me, I hope the first thing you feel is a warm welcome.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been pretty smooth. I feel grateful having a career from an early age that feels so aligned with my purpose and values in life.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I offer therapeutic massage and sound therapy. One of my favorite specialties is Lomi Lomi massage. It has called me to examine barriers that I didn’t know I carried. Once I became aware, I was able to expand my capacity to bring in an even more open heart and to offer that to others.
