Hi Maria, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was adopted at birth and have always wanted to find my biological family. In 2010, I lost my father to Alzheimer’s and at that moment, I pushed even further to find my family and gain clarity on where I came from.
I had an open adoption which allowed me to have full access to the information my mother left with her social worker. I created an online ad campaign with that information and in two weeks, I received an email from my biological mother’s sister in New Zealand. After that message, she immediately gave me my mother’s contact. In that same year that I lost my father, I also found my biological mother and 13 siblings.
I have now taken my testimony and turned it into a business. I offer social media consulting and management services to individuals and businesses. I help brands connect and build their audiences while using eye-catching content to tell their story online.
With over a decade in business, If it’s one thing that I’ve learned while working in the creative digital space, it’s that through the power of social media, our biggest dreams are possible.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
As I built my business, I had a lot of people in my life who were dream stealers and negative Nancy’s. I had a ruff start going into everything. I was homeless at one point and was bouncing around from home to home trying to get my business off the ground. I never allowed those people or circumstances to stop me from moving forward with my dreams. I’m so grateful I believed in myself and have come this far because it was easier to give up when the odds were against me.

I specialize in overseeing site metrics, creating persuasive content and publishing it on social platforms.
I’m known for my execution of projects aside from my testimony on how I found my family on social media.
I’m most proud of being a part of my client’s journey and assisting them in connecting to their targeted audience.
