Today we’d like to introduce you to Yula Indeyeva, MD.
Hi Yula, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born and Russia and moved to the United States (Richmond, VA) when I was 12 years old. Growing up, I have always known I wanted to be a physician. Early on in my medical training, I became captivated by facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and solidified my desire to specialize in it. Being able to rejuvenate an aging face or correct an unfavorable facial feature gives people a new “chance”, new inspiration, and enables them to put their best self out into the world. I absolutely love restoring the quality of life, confidence, and happiness of my patients.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Moving to a foreign country at the age of 12 was initially difficult. Adjusting to a different culture, learning in a new language, and forming new friendships at such a pivotal age was challenging. I was fortunate to connect with incredible classmates, who are my best friends to this day, and remain very dear to my heart. Surgical training in general is known to be difficult–long hours, life and death situations, intense curriculum. However, I was unwavering in my goal of becoming a facial plastic surgeon. I think that when you are truly passionate about your goal and profession, the tremendous dedication, energy, and focus required become second nature.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I moved to Austin in August 2020 and established my own solo practice with the purpose of providing the highest level and most specialized care in facial aesthetics. My approach to rejuvenation is to highlight natural beauty and establish facial harmony based on each individual’s unique features and goals. I am an exclusive facial specialist, focusing on aesthetic surgery of the face and neck, such as neck lifts, facelifts, brow lifts, blepharoplasty (eye lifts), lip lifts/enhancements, and rhinoplasty (nose jobs).
I am also an expert injector- administering botox and dermal fillers to enhance and rejuvenate the face. I have a passion in skin health, and utilize medical/surgical grade skincare and peels to resurface the skin.
I strive to care for each patient as if he/she were my own family, with integrity, compassion, and nurture. I am able to connect on a personal level and proud to have fostered many strong, life-long relationships with my patients. Many of them have followed me after my recent move to Austin to continue getting surgical as well as injectable maintenance treatments from me. I only recommend treatments and procedures that are safe, effective, and in the best interest of each individual.
I care deeply about the advancement of facial plastic surgery, devoting time to educating other aesthetic providers all over the world as a national trainer and speaker for Galderma (The maker of Restylane, Dysport, and Sculptra). I believe this keeps me on the forefront of my field, constantly evolving and refining my own techniques.
