Daily Inspiration: Meet Aaron Amos

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aaron Amos.

Hi Aaron, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Born and raised in Detroit, I learned from an early age the importance of “The Hustle.” Graduating from Cass Tech, the same institution as Diana Ross, Lily Tomlin, Big Sean, and Jack White, I knew I wanted a future in media and production. After graduating for Wayne State University with a bachelor’s in broadcast journalism, I produced for NBC and ABC. After seven years of enhancing television, I left the business to enhance the lives of others in a more direct way.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
For me it has been, maybe my situation for others – not so much. I’m a firm believer in that God doesn’t give you too much than you can bear. The only “struggles” I’ve faced were trying to navigate around the obstacles created by those who didn’t have my best interest at heart.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
As a creative, I’m an event producer. I accentuate the aesthetic, in addition to curating and executing if not the entire event – specific aspects related to the event. I’m most proud of being an Emmy nominated producer.

One of my clients likes to say I specialize in results, and I would have to agree.

What’s unique about myself is the level of authenticity and vulnerability I strive to bring to each person I encounter.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I’m not here to predict, I’m here to evolve. With the ebbs of flows of our everyday – especially with the pandemic. I’ve learned that life is much more exciting when you substitute anticipation for serendipity. I will say nothing is new, so I’m sure the next trend will be a form of a previous. TikTok is nothing more than Vine before it’s time.
