Today we’d like to introduce you to David Marshall.
Hi David, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started training in the Bujinkan as a junior in Highschool. I have continued training.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Training the Art has been Challenging. When I was in school I had to pay for training on my own, also it’s a Martial art that isn’t very popular or well known so finding a teacher could be hard at times.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I worked on and off in the semiconductor field doing some assembly and testing for eight years. Now I work as a Bench Service technician for a company called Geoshack. I service and repair GPS and laser equipment for construction companies.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I have been fortunate to have friends and mentors aplenty. My first teacher was Sensei Micheal Fizeseri(Pasted away). Sensei’s Brent DeMoville, John Hidelgo, ANd Brian Tritico have all been teachers that are very important to my Martial arts journey. My Dad has also been a big influence on me and a supporter of my passion for Martial arts.
