Today we’d like to introduce you to Brooke Hampton
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a makeup artist! I have done makeup on all platforms. I’ve done it all from the runway, editorial, bridal, film, commercial, event, and production. Bridal is what I dabble in the most, but I love editorial and production makeup the most. Special FX makeup is something I also offer- just not as much as a need for it in Austin. There are a lot of talented makeup artists in the Austin area, and our community constantly inspires me. I try to get educated on new trends, techniques and am constantly trying to better my skill. I’m a huge people person and love getting to know my clients. Making each and every client feel beautiful, unique, and confidence is what I strive for.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Well, considering I started my company based on my mother’s illness, I would say it’s been bittersweet. I definitely know I would not be here today without her words of confidence. Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom before climbing to the top.
