Today we’d like to introduce you to Tasha Moon.
Hi Tasha, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always had a passion for modeling, but it really started to grow when I needed to take college graduation pictures for Texas Tech University. After that, the photo shoot was when I knew that I wanted to pursue modeling more seriously and sign with an agency. The first step to achieving this goal was to build a modeling portfolio and my own brand to present to an agency. I also joined the Texas models & photographer’s Facebook page, which was able to help build my portfolio to take to a casting call for Brown Agency. I have currently been signed with Brown for almost two years and, during that time, started a YouTube channel for my brand called Radiant Moon.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
As a model, the biggest challenge has been working a full-time job while being signed to a modeling agency because I’ve missed out on some opportunities. The challenge as a Youtuber has been filming/editing and maintaining consistent content all from my phone. It’s been a journey for both, but I wouldn’t change anything because every obstacle has made me grow into the model and Youtuber I am today.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a signed model with Brown Agency and a Youtuber. I specialize in Commercial, Editorial, and Print modeling. My YouTube channel is all Beauty, Hair, and Lifestyle videos. My brand is unique because I am a model and YouTube creator all in one that’s trying to help encourage others to accomplish their dreams.
What matters most to you?
Having a positive mindset in everything that I do while spreading love and living life to the fullest with my family. We only live once, so I believe in enjoying every moment that comes my way because that energy will be passed on to everyone you come in contact with and will determine your success.
