Hi Grayson, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My friends and family have always reached out to me for my stamp of approval when getting dressed whether for work or a black tie event. This caused me to realize that I had a real opportunity to turn my passion for personal styling into a business when I found myself with more free time during 2020. Therefore, Styled by Gray, an elevated concierge styling service for events and daily life, launched in March of 2021.
I have a traditional yet trendy sense of style, which allows me to appeal to women of all ages, and my clients range in age from 23 – 60 years old. Through my Closet Consultations, I have put together 100s of outfit combinations for my clients that are exciting and age-appropriate yet current. Nothing makes me happier when a client says, “Oh, I would have never put this together!” I look forward to growing Styled by Gray to show more women how to maximize their wardrobe.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I am a one woman show juggling Styled by Gray and a full-time job in Marketing, which can be challenging at times, but I absolutely love what I do! Every time a client is expresses excitement about an outfit that I have suggested, it makes every tough moment worth it!

Styled by Gray is an elevated concierge styling service allowing women to feel their best for events and daily life.
My most popular service is the Closet Consultation! This is broken down into three different steps: consult, combine, and refine. Consult – we discuss the client’s goals. Combine – we curate different outfit combinations with pieces the client already has in their closet. Refine – edit the client’s wardrobe by discarding clothing that is no longer worn and/or not serving the client in a positive way.
Investing in a Personal Stylist allows you to save money in the long term because you’re able to better understand what your closet is missing, and make better purchases for your body type!
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
Covid-19 provided me with extra time to concept and develop Styled by Gray, which has come with many lessons! The most important takeaway from my perspective is to always prioritize your client’s comfort levels knowing that clothing can be a sensitive subject for many.

- Wish Lists (personal shopping) starts at $150 and increases based on the amount of items that I am shopping for.
