Today we’d like to introduce you to Crimson Minx.
Hi Crimson, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I opened Minx + Muse in 2017 with the desire to combine my two passions of sensual movement and witchcraft. Though this may seem to be a random pairing, I discovered both of these during a time in my life when I was experiencing great shifts in self-awareness and personal power, and they felt like a natural combination to explore under one roof.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Being that we are quite niche, our biggest challenge as a business is clearly conveying our values and offerings in a way that attracts the right clients. We deal in the taboo, and most people are very uncomfortable or even offended by the idea of witches and sexuality… now combine the two, and you can imagine the PR challenge! That being said, it is my mission to teach and embody these topics in the most positive, responsible, and soulful manner. Minx + Muse isn’t for everyone, and we’re not trying to be. Instead, we’ve created a small yet mighty community for those who do resonate with our vision of awakening our power, pleasure, and magick through the dark feminine!
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Minx + Muse is a fiercely feminine playhouse where we help people tap into their innate magick through dance, movement, and witchcraft. We offer daily classes—both virtual and in-person—as well as specialty workshops and events. We also have an online membership called the Minx + Muse Multiverse where we offer an immersive experience with additional teachings, downloadable tools, and community support for those looking to dive more deeply into this work.
More specifically, we offer sensual dance classes including pole dance, floor work, and burlesque. We encourage authentic expression and embodied sensuality in all of our dance experiences, so students can expect more creative and feminine exploration verse technique or fitness development. We also offer mat-based somatic classes as a way to intentionally move through and process emotional energy. Beyond movement, we offer weekly “witchy” classes where we discuss astrology, tarot, spell casting, and more!

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What lights me up and motivates me on the daily is my mission to help people recognize their own personal power through the reclamation of their sexual sovereignty and the utilization of magickal practices. Releasing the stigma of the dark feminine—aka the sexuality, the shadow, mysticism, etc.—and utilizing these aspects of ourselves to take radical responsibility for our own lives! It’s deep work, but our coven of a kind and curious witches bring such joy to the process! If we don’t own these aspects of ourselves, someone else can, and learning how to tap into and wield this power is not just how we can become the ultimate creatrixes of our own lives, but also how the feminine can rise to topple toxic patriarchal systems. It sounds like a grandiose vision, but change starts from within!
