Today we’d like to introduce you to Tre’ion (Todd) Murray (Vinci).
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Todd Vinci was Started in 2011 after being inspired by the lives of famed artists and designers. During that time, I was a student-athlete Playing football & running track at Texas State University but I knew I wanted something more, something outside the box. I wanted to create my own path and stand out amongst my peers. When I was a Junior studying fashion merchandising, I found myself torn between my love of football and Fashion. It wasn’t the easiest decision but I chose to follow my heart and go all in focusing on Fashion and my brand. Todd Vinci which means “Clever Conqueror” it’s framed after Leonardo da Vinci because a lot of his art went unfinished, just as a lot of people’s passions and desires. Todd is a Family name of an ancestor who played a major role. I originally only made 12 Shirts and sold them on campus to my classmates. I eventually created my first collection. I believe that Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication and the best way to think outside the box so that’s the DNA embedded into everything I create. Todd Vinci has been growing with the help of social media. Majority of sales come from online shopping & in person vending. Todd Vinci isn’t just a lifestyle brand; I also work on helping individual’s image and personal brand through my branch business Well Dressed Gentlemen. Determination, consistency, and Faith has lead me to continue following my purpose. I love motivating the youth, I believe that through my vision, I can inspire overs to go against the grain and Conquer their Goals.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road but I believe the challenges have made me wiser and stronger individual
some challenges along the way have been me being my biggest critic, capital, work-life balance and understanding that not everyone will understand or see my vision the way I do.
