Today we’d like to introduce you to Isabel Arias.
Hi Isabel, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My entrepreneur journey started when I was 24 years old. I knew I was meant to do something different with my life. It started when I picked up a book from Grant Cardone and introduced me to the world of sales and entrepreneurship. After that I started researching how to make an income online. I started out with making youtube videos and showing others how to start their journey, it failed, then I started looking into dropshipping. I was selling bags with my husband and we really went in but unfortunately failed again. So once again, I had to do more research and came across the world of network marketing. I’ve heard of this business model and was very skeptical of them but after diving deep in research, it was checking off everything on my entrepreneur journey, low start up cost, no inventory, had a dropshipping method, social media training, personal and professional development and great commission pay. I partnered with a business that aligned with me which was beauty. I asked so many questions before I started and knew this was meant for me. Since starting, I have grown a lot personally and really got in touch with my creative side. Network marketing is fun when you partner with the right people and choose a business that aligns with you. I have been doing it for almost three years now and have loved every second of it. I get the chance to empower others, to show my creative self on reels and be the best version of me. It isn’t everyone’s cup of tea and I understand that. My mission is to show others how it can benefit them either if they decide to do it on the side or full-time. I want to help others be that version of themselves that they so crave to be but are too scared of the opinions of others. I want to show you that your story deserves to be told.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road in the beginning, unfortunately network marketing doesn’t get a big welcome from people. I have lost friends and family when I started. Being told that what I do isn’t right and I should stick with my retail manager job. Here’s the thing, I wasn’t going to get far with my retail job and if I did it would take many years. I liked network marketing because I get to learn the world of business, sales and social media. It opened many doors for me. I have been able to go to conferences and learn from many other successful entrepreneurs, I have been given a chance to travel more and here I’ve been given a chance to do this interview and share my story. It is always going to be a tough road when you start something out of the normal, and that goes for any business not just network marketing. It can be heartbreaking but over time, when you focus on you and growing your business, it becomes worth it. You know why you start something and others may not understand or agree but just know you’re on the right path of your journey and to continue on. I’ve been made fun of, laughed at, got called names and I could have quit after that but I didn’t. Instead of focusing on the bad, I was focusing on the good and let me tell you, I had more people cheering me on than the people bringing me down.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I do network marketing. I have partnered with a brand in which I promote and sell their products either through social media, in person or events. I personally love to use reels to reach a larger audience helping me get more creative, I don’t just share my products; I also share my personality. I have been able to meet so many wonderful people through reels and through my business.
