Today we’d like to introduce you to Lori DeLuna.
Hi Lori, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
In the beginning, as a little girl I envisioned the most beautiful wedding day. I imagined all the colors, sequins, beads, feathers, satin… All these magical details that would make a wedding come alive. I imagined Prince Charming sweeping Cinderella off her feet and it all ended in happily ever after. As I grew older, I learned about all the logistics involved in planning the perfect day. I have since perfected and implemented all that goes into coordinating the special day. I am a people pleaser so it makes sense for my purpose to please the bride and her most perfect day. I love seeing my bride’s plan come alive and unfold to create oohs and ahhhs from the crowd. This is my reward and it only makes me want to keep creating more magical magnificent memories.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I think we can all agree that there is no such thing as smooth road. We are all faced with challenges when starting a new business. During the pandemic, I decided to leave my job and work full-time developing my business. I figured now is the best time to launch. It was such a scary feeling knowing that it was such a risk to leave my 9- 5 job. So many what if’s but I figured if not now, when? While we were all at home trying to figure out our next steps
I was able to network and meet amazing people along the way.
Now it was time to showcase my creative side. A creative side that made me stand out from the rest and be able to show other vendors what I could bring to the table.
While I was still trying to figure out my place in the wedding industry, I was very fortunate to meet vendors that would help me along my journey.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
When I was twelve, we traveled far for a family wedding. I remember being so excited to travel to someone’s special day. It was a Greek wedding so I was lucky to be a part of learning new traditions and cultures. I remember the vibrant colors of crisp white linens and ocean blues. I learned later that these colors incorporated the greek islands. During the reception, it became alive with glorious dancing and breaking of plates and the piercing sounds of OPHAHH. I joined in quickly because I wanted to break a plate too! It was such a fun memory for me and growing up, I see that there is a world of different cultures and traditions that bring to the wedding industry. I have been able to attend several multicultural weddings and bask in all their glory.
