Today we’d like to introduce you to Zac Martinsen.
Hi Zac, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
While going through college, I obtained my real estate license in 2005 and decided to start making money instead of racking up student debt.
We flipped homes before the 2008 financial crisis shifted gears a bit into commercial real estate.
Then I started Living spree Realty with my business partner and wonderful mother Lisa Gonzalez a little over four years ago. We have a wonderful downtown office with agents from Temple all the way to Corpus Christi.
We are one big happy family boutique brokerage. Thriving on a full service and customer service approach with our clients. Separating us from the large real estate machines churning numbers and new agents.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
When we started Living spree Realty, we were working out of a very small apartment 7 days a week 15 to 17 hour days.
Covid obviously was a big struggle and we took some losses closed down our first office and lost some good agents.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
We work with residential and commercial investments in real estate. We specialize in first-time homebuyers as many of our agents are educators and have been a part of the business for many years. My business partner Lisa Gonzalez is a UT graduate and has been here for 38 years. She took her first real estate class back in ’89. I have lived here my entire life. Bought and sold many homes here in Austin and we now have a successful real estate firm right off of Rio Grande and 6th Street in downtown Austin.
Living Spree differentiates itself by allowing for direct communication with the broker owners for all clients. We give you all of our years of experience and can help anyone on our team 7 days a week.
Our clients get three or sometimes four licensed real estate agents working for them at a time.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
If I would have to watch she was one I would say
