Hi Justin, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been a nurse for several years now. I have had the opportunity to work in different units from emergency to intensive care in the cardiovascular specialty. My passion for helping others has always been my driving force. Initially, nursing helped me with that goal, but it felt stationary at times. I wanted to do something that would allow me to immediately bring health benefits to people. I thought about how no one usually gets an IV unless they are in a hospital. Concierge IV therapy became a new avenue. In collaboration with our medical director Dr. Palumbo from Hydreight and fellow nurses I trust, we created Livin IV Therapy. We bring the benefits of IV therapy directly to you; whether at your home, office, hotel, or private events. IV therapy benefits include instant hydration, increased energy, boosted immunity, cleanse and detox, and that’s just the start. It feels rewarding to hear and see the positive feedback from clients on how IV therapy has helped them.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Starting a business is tough, especially the first year. It’s a trial and error process. You learn to differentiate what choices will benefit or hurt your business within that year. My main struggle is being a “nurse-preneur”. Learning and growing with business is something different from typical nursing duties. IV therapy is something new for some people. Educating people is the core foundation of spreading the benefits of IV therapy. Our nurses are equipped with skills and knowledge in delivering the IV therapy safely. Exposure is also a big challenge; friends and family are blessings and our strongest assets. I owe a lot to them and am very grateful for having them believe in me from day one.
